On Saturday 22. October at the Tyne Head Races - the Tyne Rowing Club Long Distance Sculling Head and the Tyne United Small Boats Head - crews from the Aberdeen Schools Rowing Association recorded 4 category wins against quality opposition from across the North East of England, but arguably the most impressive performance of the day came from ASRA's Junior 16 boys - Aidan Graham, Miles Beeson, Sam Kelso & Daniel Lynch - who unfortunately did not receive a pennant for their efforts as they raced up a category in the Junior 18 Coxless Quadruple Sculls event , but came a brilliant 3rd overall in a field of 112.
